Dotty ~ Social Media Expert
Much of my experience is hands on and self taught. I run my business with common sense in mind and I treat others like I want to be treated. I have a degree in Photography from the Art Institute of Seattle, and took classes in Web Design from Clark College.
Much of my Social Media experience is learned by “just doing it.” I love in person Networking and have taken those skills and moved them Online. The sites that I use most are FaceBook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. There are many others but these are my main focus. Feel free to contact me with any Social Media questions – from the trivial to the complex. This is how I get my ideas for training video subjects. I listen to you and my clients.
Community is important to me and I am deeply connected to my community through the Fort Vancouver Lions Club. The Lions provide support for Hearing and Sight Impaired individuals as well as service projects throughout the community. I volunteer many hours each year for the benefit of our community as a whole. I also am a firm believer in supporting other local businesses within my own community ~ Small Businesses will be the saviors of this country!
I love teaching ~ both hands on and virtually. For the Do It Yourself client in my local area I offer Social media classes and WordPress classes. I not only teach you the technical aspects of a Social Media platform but will also give you strategies for using it in your business. There is nothing worse than learning how to use something if you do not know how to apply it.
I work from home and have one child. I enjoy Photography, Scrapbooking, Reading, Learning, Organic Gardening, and Natural Health and Wellness.
